📈 Levelling Up My Studio
It’s still not fully finished as you can tell my light fixtures are grow lights (LOL) and I’m missing a rug… but it’s coming together! This will be my new backdrop of educational youtube videos! My desk and chair are also not ergonomic friendly… but I’ll deal with that later 😅

🗞️ This Week in Cannabis News
You’ve probably seen the hundreds of articles and videos talking about the DEA proposing to reschedule cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III… but what does this actually mean and will it even end up happening? I’ve seen a mixed bags of responses on this announcement, and to be honest — I don’t understand the US structure enough to comment intelligently about this announcement. All I know is that as long as cannabis is a Schedule I drug, it will continue to make it extremely difficult for researchers to study the plant — something that has been a challenge in the field of cannabis research for decades. For now, I’m going to stay close on this topic and share any learnings 🤝🏻
An updated announcement from the Thai PM on Tuesday said that Thailand will re-list cannabis as a narcotic by the end of the year.We heard this news a few months back and at the time, I was actually in Thailand asking local business owners about whether this is real or not. Alot of them responded the same — that they don’t really know much about it and they think the PM is using it as a political move. The dozen of Thai canna-business-owners that I talked to didn’t seem worried — but have things changed since then? Prasitchai Nunual, secretary-general of Thailand's Cannabis Future Network, said "If scientific results show that cannabis is worse then alcohol and cigarettes then they can re-list it as a narcotic. If cannabis is less harmful, they should list cigarettes and alcohol as narcotics too."Just take that sentence in. Now I usually try to be as objective as possible but REALLY?! That sentence is bananas. There are thousands of studies showing the harmful effects of alcohol and smoking cigarettes and have proven to kill thousands of people each year — and in the history of cannabis, the use of the ancient plant has never resulted in a death 🤦🏻♀️
To end on a more positive note, I want to share this exciting new study that just came from the UK Medical Cannabis Research Group —a study looked at how medical cannabis use impacted individuals with ADHD which ultimately showed improvements in sleep quality and anxiety. The study is detailed and breaks down even the participant’s history with smoking and consumption of alcohol — highly recommend you give it a read 🤓
