Q: What is your experience with the THCA flower? Is it something that you have tried or something you would recommend?
A: THCA aka tetrahydrocannabinolic acid is essentially the pre-cursor compound to THC. You see that nug sitting inside your grinder? That’s THCA right there. When heat is applied to cannabis flower, that’s when THCA converts to THC, giving us the psychoactive effects that we desire. THCA does not have psychoactive effects, but it has been studied for potential neuroprotective and anti-inflammatory effects.
I’ve put cannabis flower and kief into my smoothies before, but it’s hard for me to comment about whether there was any noticeable benefit since I don’t consume it frequently enough! Curious to learn more? Check out my raw cannabis smoothie recipe here

🗞️ Cannabis Is Officially Allowed For US College Sports
It took the NCAA Division I Council 5 months to officially make it official, but it’s finally done! The NCAA came out earlier this week with the announcement that they will be removing cannabis from it’s banned substances life for Divison I players, effective immediately. They emphasized that cannabis is not a performance-enhancing drug and that it should be treated the same way as alcohol.
Let’s not forget about when Sha’Carri Richardson was stripped from her spot on the 2021 Olympic team where she tested positive for THC (which she had used to help her with coping with her mother’s death at that time). Sha’Carri is absolutely killing it right now and last Saturday won the 100m in which she will be competing at the Paris Olympics.
