About The Recipe
The Cannabis-Infused Almond Milk Frappuccino is a tasty drink that mixes almond milk with cannabis, giving a cool twist to the classic frappuccino. A frappuccino is a chilled, blended coffee or milk-based drink, known for its refreshing taste. While cannabis-infused drinks aren't available everywhere due to legal reasons, certain places in regions where cannabis is legal might have similar options.
These spots usually specialize in cannabis-infused items, offering various drinks and snacks for those wanting an alternative way to use cannabis. Almond milk adds a creamy texture and nutty flavour to the frappuccino, and it's a good option for those with dairy allergies or lactose intolerance. The drink combines cannabis infusion, almond milk, and the frappuccino style, creating a cool and enjoyable beverage for both cannabis fans and those with specific dietary preferences.
How did Frappuccinos Happen?
A frappuccino is a blended and chilled beverage that typically combines coffee or a milk base with ice, resulting in a refreshing and frothy concoction. Popularized by coffeehouse chains, the frappuccino has become a beloved treat known for its smooth texture and versatility.
Variations may include flavoured syrups, whipped cream, and toppings, allowing for a diverse range of flavour options. The word "frappuccino" itself is a trademark of Starbucks, one of the leading coffee chains globally, and has become synonymous with this blended beverage style. Beyond the original coffee-based versions, there are numerous non-coffee alternatives, such as fruit-based or cream-based frappuccinos, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences.

Ingredient Substitutions
- Almond Milk: This recipe uses dairy free milk - I suggest almond for that nutty flavour. It doesn’t have to be almond milk though, and it certainly doesn’t have to be dairy free. If you’d prefer to use regular cow's milk, go for it!
- Monkfruit Sweetener: I like to use monkfruit sweetener to naturally sweeten my beverages but you’re welcome to use any other kind of sweetener or sugar alternative.
- Whipped Cream or Cocoa Powder: This step is optional but I like to add itin as a sweet treat! Feel free to take your infusion level to a new game and use my infused whipped cream recipe for the whipped cream!
TIPS & TRICKS
- Make sure your coffee is cooled before you add all of your ingredients together. If it’s too hot, it’ll melt some of the ice and the consistency might be a bit off!
- Pair your smoothie with a cute tall glass and straw - it always makes the drinking experience more fun.
