About The Recipe

Picture this: a cozy evening, a crackling fireplace, and the warmth of holiday spirit in the air. As a coffee enthusiast and an advocate for finding joy in the little things, I present to you my latest creation—a Cannabis Infused Eggnog Espresso Mocktini infused with Jane & Juice's 'Synchronicity' Ampoule.

This delightful concoction is my go-to for blending the robust notes of espresso with the comforting embrace of classic eggnog. The addition of Jane & Juice's 'Synchronicity' Ampoule brings a subtle twist, creating a beautifully balanced elixir that encapsulates the season's essence.

What is Eggnog?

Eggnog, a beloved holiday classic, is more than just a creamy concoction; it's a sip of tradition and comfort. At its core, eggnog is a luscious beverage crafted from a blend of milk, cream, sugar, and beaten eggs. Its origins trace back to medieval Britain, where a hot, ale-based concoction called "posset" was spiked with eggs and eventually evolved into the creamy libation we know today.

Make Your Own Eggnog At Home

Making eggnog at home involves:

  1. Whisking together egg yolks and sugar until they achieve a pale, velvety consistency.
  2. To this mixture, warm milk is added slowly, creating a base enriched with heavy cream.
  3. The final touch is a sprinkle of nutmeg, adding a warm and festive aroma.

This process not only yields a decadent drink but also carries a sense of nostalgia, evoking memories of cozy gatherings and cherished moments around the hearth. So, as you embark on the journey of making your eggnog, remember that each frothy sip is a sip into history, tradition, and the heartwarming embrace of the holiday season.

Ingredient Substitutions

Dissolvable Cannabis Powder:

  • Elevates the Eggnog experience with a subtle, distinctive note.
  • It provides a unique way to infuse a touch of relaxation into the rich flavours.
  • Allows for a customizable cannabis infusion, catering to individual preferences.

Infused Olive Oil:

  • Introduces a velvety texture to the Eggnog, enhancing its richness.
  • Adds a hint of Mediterranean sophistication to the traditional holiday drink.
  • Provides an alternative and savoury twist for those seeking a unique flavour profile.

TIPS & TRICKS

  • To skip the ampoule infusion, you could also use my infused eggnog recipe as your main infusion. Just make sure you dose according to your desired elevation levels!

FAQ

Q: Can I substitute the eggnog with a dairy-free alternative?

A: Yes, you can substitute eggnog with a dairy-free alternative such as almond milk nog or oat milk nog. Just ensure that the consistency and flavor are similar to traditional eggnog to maintain the richness of the drink.

Q: What is the Jane & Juice ‘Synchronicity’ Ampoule, and can I make the recipe without it?

A: The Jane & Juice ‘Synchronicity’ Ampoule is a cannabis-infused product that adds a unique flavor and effect to the drink. If you prefer a non-cannabis version, you can omit the ampoule, and the recipe will still be delicious as a traditional holiday mocktail.

Step 1: Calculate Potency For Your Infusion

Calculate total batch potency by entering product weight (grams), THC/THCA percentage, and CBD/CBDA percentage. Get total THC and CBD in milligrams (mg) for dosing.

(flower, wax, oil, etc)

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, while THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is its non-psychoactive precursor found in raw cannabis

CBD (cannabidiol) is a psychoactive compound in cannabis known for its potential therapeutic benefits, while CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD found in raw cannabis, which needs to be decarboxylated (heated) to become CBD with active properties.

(ie. butter, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, alcohol)
