About The Recipe

This is my number one recipe on the internet, and for good reason. My dissolvable cannabis powder is stealing the show. This recipe isn't just a breeze; it's like a kitchen sidekick that's crazy easy to use.

The best part? You can make it with three simple ingredients, that's it! But the real game-changer is how effortlessly you can sprinkle this magic into any drink or sauce – instant infusion, no fuss. And guess what? It’s water soluble too!

Why water soluble?

Uncovering water-soluble cannabis products proves to be a game-changer, especially for those seeking simplicity and speed in their infusion pursuits. In contrast to conventional cannabis oils, water-soluble products effortlessly dissolve in water, presenting unparalleled convenience. This characteristic allows for effortless integration into beverages or sauces without the need for intricate emulsification processes.

The significance of water solubility becomes apparent in its prompt onset of effects, delivering a swifter and more efficient infusion experience. The majority of cannabis products are oil-based, posing challenges for effective absorption by the body. In contrast, water-soluble alternatives enhance bioavailability, ensuring the body absorbs and utilizes cannabinoids more efficiently.

Features

  • Effortless Preparation: This recipe is super quick and easy, requiring only three simple ingredients, making it accessible and hassle-free for any enthusiast.
  • Convenient Long-Term Use: Once made, it's a "make it and forget it" infusion. Prepare a batch to save for later, allowing you to conveniently use it whenever you need a quick infusion without the need for repeated preparation.
  • Water Solubility: The magic lies in its water-soluble nature. This infusion can be effortlessly added to any beverage or sauce, ensuring seamless integration without the need for complex emulsification processes.

Ingredient Substitutions

  • Tapioca Starch: Cornstarch is a common thickening agent and works similarly to tapioca starch. It will give a slightly different texture, but it’s widely available and still provides a smooth consistency when combined with cannabis oil.

TIPS & TRICKS

  • When adding the cannabis oil to the starch, stir slowly and evenly to prevent clumping and ensure the oil is well-distributed throughout the mixture.
  • After combining the oil and starch, run the mixture through a fine mesh sieve twice to achieve a smoother, more consistent final product.

FAQ

Q: Can I use a different type of oil besides cannabis oil?

A: Yes, you can substitute cannabis oil with any infused oil (like CBD oil or hemp oil) depending on the desired effect. However, the potency and intended benefits will vary with different oils.

Q: What is the purpose of sunflower lecithin in this recipe?

A: Sunflower lecithin acts as an emulsifier, helping the cannabis oil bind better with the starch and improving the absorption of cannabinoids in the body.

Q: How should I store this infused starch?

A: Store the mixture in an airtight glass container in a cool, dry place to keep it fresh for up to a month. This prevents moisture from affecting the texture and potency.

Step 1: Calculate Potency For Your Infusion

Calculate total batch potency by entering product weight (grams), THC/THCA percentage, and CBD/CBDA percentage. Get total THC and CBD in milligrams (mg) for dosing.

(flower, wax, oil, etc)

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, while THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is its non-psychoactive precursor found in raw cannabis

CBD (cannabidiol) is a psychoactive compound in cannabis known for its potential therapeutic benefits, while CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD found in raw cannabis, which needs to be decarboxylated (heated) to become CBD with active properties.

(ie. butter, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, alcohol)

Step 2: Calculate Potency Of Each Serving/Edible

Determine the potency per serving in your recipe by specifying the number of tablespoons of oil and the total servings. This calculation will yield the milligrams (mg) of THC and CBD in the entire recipe, as well as the amount per serving.
