About The Recipe
It’s my birthday, I’ll get high if I want to… and I do! This is why I’m here sharing my latest creation – a cannabis-infused birthday cake, aka a weed cake. It's super simple to make and incredibly delicious. The flavours meld together beautifully, creating a fantastic dessert that also offers a discreet way to get high. I love infusing these moments into my life; it makes the whole consumption experience more accepted for me and those around me.
When incorporating an infused birthday cake into a gathering, it's crucial to prioritize the well-being and comfort of everyone involved. Firstly, seek consent from your guests. Ensure they are comfortable with the idea of consuming a cannabis-infused treat, respecting personal preferences and boundaries. To cater to varying tolerance levels, consider requesting dosage preferences or limitations from your guests beforehand.
This step helps create a mindful and enjoyable experience for everyone. Additionally, be diligent about inquiring about any allergies or dietary restrictions. This ensures that your cannabis-infused cake not only provides a discreet high but also caters to the diverse needs of your guests. By fostering open communication and being considerate of individual preferences and requirements, you can guarantee a celebratory atmosphere that's enjoyable for everyone.

- Granulated Sugar: Coconut sugar is a lower glycemic alternative that adds a subtle caramel flavor, making it a healthier option that still provides sweetness.
TIPS & TRICKS
- Using room-temperature butter, egg whites, and milk helps the ingredients mix more evenly, resulting in a smoother batter and a better cake texture!
- Once the cakes are cooled, level them with a cake leveler or serrated knife before frosting to ensure an even and professional-looking finish.

- 4 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 6 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Brush butter onto two 8-inch non-stick cake pans and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Place the butter and cannabutter and sugar in a stand mixer bowl and bet on medium speed for 5 minutes, or until the butter is soft and light. Beat in vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together egg whites and milk until combined.
- Gradually add ⅓ of the flour mixture followed by ⅓ of the milk mixture into the stand mixture on low. Repeat until all the ingredients are incorporated.
- Pour the cake batter into the two 8-inch non-stick cake pans and bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes.

- Place one of the cake rounds on a cake stand and ice it until fully covered.
- Stack the second cake round on top of the cake and ice until fully covered.
- Decorate with sprinkles and enjoy!

FAQ
Q: Can I use whole eggs instead of just egg whites?
A: Yes, you can use whole eggs, but the texture of the cake will be denser and richer. Using egg whites alone results in a lighter, fluffier cake.
Q: What can I do if my buttercream frosting is too thick or too thin?
A: If the frosting is too thick, gradually add more milk, a tablespoon at a time, until you reach the desired consistency. If it's too thin, add more confectioners' sugar until it thickens up.
Q: How can I prevent my cake from sticking to the pans?
A: To prevent sticking, ensure you properly grease the pans with butter and line the bottom with parchment paper. This creates a non-stick surface that makes removing the cakes much easier.
