Why delve into this combination, you ask? Consider it an exploration in enhancing your culinary experiences. Whether you seek a laid-back afternoon treat or a unique addition to your breakfast, this infused peanut butter offers a versatile option. Perfect for spreading on toast, pairing with apples, or simply indulging by the spoonful, it's a subtle infusion that adds a nuanced twist to a classic favourite.

About Peanut Butter

Peanut butter, a beloved pantry staple, traces its roots back to ancient civilizations where indigenous peoples in South America were known to mash roasted peanuts into a paste. However, it wasn't until the late 19th and early 20th centuries that peanut butter as we know it gained popularity in the United States, thanks to innovators like Dr. John Harvey Kellogg and Dr. Ambrose Straub.

Today, this creamy spread has become a global phenomenon. Beyond its delectable taste, peanut butter packs a nutritional punch. Rich in protein, healthy fats, and various essential vitamins and minerals, it contributes to heart health, aids in weight management, and provides a sustainable energy source. Whether enjoyed on toast, blended into smoothies, or used in cooking, peanut butter stands as a versatile and nutritious addition to a balanced diet.

Features

  • Perfect for spreading on toast, pairing with apples, or simply indulging by the spoonful.
  • Rich in protein, healthy fats, and various essential vitamins and minerals.
  • The rich and creamy texture makes it an excellent cannabis carrier.

Ingredient Substitutions

  • Peanut Butter: You can substitute for any nut butter like almond butter or hazelnut butter. If you’re allergic to nuts, opt for a seed butter like pumpkin butter or sunflower seed butter instead. When choosing a nut or seed butter, remember to look at the ingredients to ensure there are no added oils or sugars.

TIPS & TRICKS

  • I would not recommend pouring the cannabis oil directly into the jar that the peanut butter came in. Scoop out the desired amount of peanut butter that you want to infuse into another mixing bowl, and then add your cannabis oil to that bowl. This way, you can also have non-infused peanut butter to enjoy as well.

Step 1: Calculate Potency For Your Infusion

Calculate total batch potency by entering product weight (grams), THC/THCA percentage, and CBD/CBDA percentage. Get total THC and CBD in milligrams (mg) for dosing.

(flower, wax, oil, etc)

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, while THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is its non-psychoactive precursor found in raw cannabis

CBD (cannabidiol) is a psychoactive compound in cannabis known for its potential therapeutic benefits, while CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD found in raw cannabis, which needs to be decarboxylated (heated) to become CBD with active properties.

(ie. butter, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, alcohol)
