Using Chili oil

Chilli oil has a long history and is used in various cuisines around the world. Its specific origin is challenging to trace, but it is notably associated with Chinese and Southeast Asian cuisines. In Chinese cuisine, it is a key component of Sichuan and Hunan dishes, adding heat and flavour to many traditional recipes.

Chilli oil has become popular globally due to the growing appreciation for spicy and flavorful foods. Its versatility and ability to elevate the taste of a wide range of dishes make it a staple in many kitchens. While its roots are in Asia, variations of chilli oil are now found in numerous culinary traditions worldwide.

The primary ingredient is chilli peppers, which can range from mild to extremely spicy depending on the variety used. Common oils used for making chilli oil include vegetable oil, peanut oil, or sesame oil. Some recipes include garlic, ginger, Sichuan peppercorns, or other spices to enhance the flavour profile. Chilli oil adds heat, depth, and complexity to dishes. It is often used as a finishing touch to drizzle over noodles, soups, stir-fries, or rice dishes.

  • 1 block of firm tofu
  • 1 long green onion or scallion
  • 2 tbsps olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt

A: Infused ramen are considered to be cannabis edibles, which means that they have to be ingested and processed by your liver before heading up to your blood brain barrier. The onset of cannabis edibles can range from person to person, and can also be impacted by a variety of factors, such as one’s metabolism. Generally cannabis edibles can take anywhere from 30 minutes all the way to 2 hours for the onset, and the experience can last between 4 to 12 hours.

Step 1: Calculate Potency For Your Infusion

Calculate total batch potency by entering product weight (grams), THC/THCA percentage, and CBD/CBDA percentage. Get total THC and CBD in milligrams (mg) for dosing.

(flower, wax, oil, etc)

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, while THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is its non-psychoactive precursor found in raw cannabis

CBD (cannabidiol) is a psychoactive compound in cannabis known for its potential therapeutic benefits, while CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD found in raw cannabis, which needs to be decarboxylated (heated) to become CBD with active properties.

(ie. butter, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, alcohol)
