More about Whipped Cream

Whipped cream's history is a delightful journey that traces back to medieval Europe, where it was created through hand-whipping cream with simple utensils like twigs. Over time, the process became more efficient with the advent of mechanical tools like whisks.

By the 17th century, it had earned a coveted place in European cuisine, adorning desserts in noble courts. In the 19th century, innovations like the cream siphon made whipped cream accessible to households, spreading its widespread popularity. Today, it remains a beloved component in numerous dishes and desserts, a testament to its enduring charm and evolution in culinary traditions.

FAQ

Q: How long does it take to infuse whipping cream?

A: If you’ve already got your infused oil, this recipe shouldn’t take longer than 5-7 minutes to make! Quick, simple and effective.

Q: Why is it easier to infuse dairy products?

A: It’s really easy to infuse dairy products because cannabis blends with fats very well. Therefore, any substance high in fat will combine easily with cannabis and create a well blended infusion. But, it’s not impossible to infuse plant based dairy substitutions either!

Q: How long does homemade whipped cream last?

A: Homemade whipped cream usually lasts between 5-7 days but after the first few it tends to lose its consistency and structure. I’d recommend eating this recipe within 2 days of making it so it’s as fresh as possible!

Step 1: Calculate Potency For Your Infusion

Calculate total batch potency by entering product weight (grams), THC/THCA percentage, and CBD/CBDA percentage. Get total THC and CBD in milligrams (mg) for dosing.

(flower, wax, oil, etc)

THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive compound in cannabis, while THCA (tetrahydrocannabinolic acid) is its non-psychoactive precursor found in raw cannabis

CBD (cannabidiol) is a psychoactive compound in cannabis known for its potential therapeutic benefits, while CBDA (cannabidiolic acid) is the precursor to CBD found in raw cannabis, which needs to be decarboxylated (heated) to become CBD with active properties.

(ie. butter, olive oil, coconut oil, MCT oil, alcohol)
